Lasers
Coherent’s high-power infrared diode
lasers are manufactured with InGaAsP, in other words,
they are aluminum-free. This allows our diodes to have
exceptional lifetime since the major cause of flaws has
been eliminated: oxidation of the aluminum in the laser
facets. High brilliance and narrow bandwidth diodes are
also available in the red area.

Diode Laser Power Supplies
It is critical for the operation of diode lasers that
their power supplies can supply high currents at low voltages
with minimum noise and that they are well protected against
transient currents. For those who need a better diode
lasers operation control, Coherent also offers temperature
control modules.
