Coherent pioneered in 1979 the use
of ceramic metal plasma tubes technology in ion lasers.
This technology would, a few years later, become the market
standard as a result of an impressive leap in quality,
power, and mainly, in the plasma tube lifetime.
The Coherent’s INNOVA series lasts over 7,000 hours
in low power lasers (up to 5W), and up to 5,000 hours
in high power lasers (up to 25W).
This reliable laser was designed to provide
a unique combination of high performance and affordability
for laboratories that need a top of the line laser.

INNOVA 300
Supplying up to 10W of multiline power and 1W in UV, this
laser offers PowerTrack, an active cavity
stabilization component, that makes it excellent for Ti:sapphire
laser pumping and holographic experiments with short time
exposure (up to 15 min.). Alternatively, INNOVA 300 offers
ModeTrack and ModeTune,
mode-hop-free and etalon temperature stabilization components
for use in long-term experiments (several hours).

INNOVA 300c FreD
This is an ion laser that uses intracavity frequency doubling
(BBO crystals), which allows deep-UV (229.0 nm to 264.3
nm) operation.

INNOVA Sabre
It is the most sophisticated ion laser
available in the market. Besides the active stabilization
components PowerTrack and VTrack,
Sabre is equipped with the Sentry system,
which provides hands-off mirrors alignment, wavelengths
selection and TEM 00 beam profile. These systems guarantee
Sabre’s best performance, even under unfavorable
environmental conditions or when its operators are not
experienced in laser handling.
