OPOTEK Inc., founded in 1993, introduced the first US broadband visible optical parametric oscillator (OPO) as a commercial product. Since then we have delivered a wide range of OPO laser systems to hundreds of customers worldwide.

Phocus Inline
Based on ‘ring-cavity’ optical parametric oscillator (OPO) technology, the Phocus Inline is a cost effective laser source for photoacoustic imaging applications that require high pulse energies and NIR wavelengths for deep penetration of biological tissue.
Phocus Mobile
The Phocus Mobile transforms the Phocus tunable laser system into a light-sealed, transportable cart designed for deployment into pre-clinical environments.
Phocus Mini
The Phocus Mini is a scaled down version of the Phocus with nanosecond, NIR pulse energies for photoacoustic imaging applications that require less power.

The Opolette 355 tunable laser system utilizes patented optical parametric oscillator (OPO) technology to generate wavelengths over a broad range in the UV, VIS and NIR.


Opolette 532
The Opolette 532 tunable laser system utilizes patented optical parametric oscillator (OPO) technology to generate wavelengths over a broad range in the NIR.
IR Opolette
The IR Opolette tunable laser system utilizes optical parametric oscillator (OPO) technology to generate wavelengths over a broad range in the MIR.
Magic Prism
The MagicPRISM module utilizes patented optical parametric oscillator (OPO) technology to transform the end-user's fixed wavelength Nd:YAG laser into a tunable laser system that covers a broad range in the VIS and NIR.
IR Opolette 2940
The IR Opolette 2940 laser system utilizes optical parametric oscillator (OPO) technology to generate 2940 nm laser light for water desorption based mass spectrometric analyses or other related application.
